Firstly, my name is Valerie Freeman, 33 years of age and a mother of one handsome and intelligent son that's 8 years of age.  He's the motivating force that keeps me striving to be the best mom, person that I can be to myself and to others!

Let me ask you this......

How many of you have always had a dream? I mean a REALLY BIG dream.
 

I know you may be wondering…..why FREE-man Land, right?

 

Well see….Here’s the short story version: Would you believe that my dream was to be a News Anchor?! Not the biased Anchor that reads what she has to in order to keep her job, but one that wanted to deliver the TRUTH!​For as long as I can remember, my BIGGEST dream in life was to be in media, mass communications, broadcasting, and productions.  I also can remember days in high school where I would direct, write, run the teleprompter, edit movies, act in plays, pageantry, and delivered the school news in front of the camera! Pretty awesome, right?!​

I honestly don’t think I had missed a day of school….like seriously.​

I had also attended college as a continuation of my studies, however, I ran into some challenges that slowed my progress.

If you're human, you understand that we all go through patches of figuring out who we are and where we are needed in the world and I have always believed that media was my happy place.

I was told that because of this or that, I could not continue with my media/broadcast pursuits. Do you know that hearing this hurt me to my core and it had really set me back for years only because I had actually believed them and so I just completely ended my pursuits. ​

 

Then there was this day when I had to make a decision to believe them and let my dream die OR dig deep within myself, do the work required, and LIVE!  IT WAS JUST THAT SIMPLE!

 I’m not going to elaborate on the challenges just yet, but just know that I have faced many difficulties getting to this point.

This production company will not be like the rest! FREE-man Land Productions will be based around getting what’s yours the honest way!

Just the confidence in knowing that you do not have to sell your soul nor compromise with your beliefs to make it to the top, is such a humbling experience.

Most times when you are looking to get into the media world, you are essentially signing away your life, intentionally or unintentionally.  

I REFUSED to sign away my life for a cup of beans in the end!

I chose God above EVERYTHING! He’s the reason I have made it to where I am today and the only one to make sure FREE-man Land Productions is successful!

You can look forward to content ranging from education presentations, short films, documentaries, television, just to name a few.  I want to say that any and and EVERYTHING MEDIA! Lol.

You do not have to dream like everyone else around you… DREAM BIG because everything you want…you can have! YOU just have to do the work required to get it! 

Just remember, if you keep pushing, you will make it! It doesn’t matter how long it takes you to reach your dreams, AS LONG AS YOU REACH THEM!
